Terence Dominick Sr. started carving monuments in 1982 out of a home workshop. Forty-plus years later, Dominick & Sons is still family-run — still hand-stenciling, still in Colchester.

Dominick & Sons Monument Works, LLC has been Eastern Connecticut's family monument shop for 30 years — creating elegant, unique memorials, decorations, and home/garden accents.

It started in 1982 when Terence Dominick Sr. began carving monuments on a small, local scale. Word spread fast. Terence devoted himself full-time to the craft, moved from a home office into a proper Colchester shop, and for three decades Dominick & Sons has served families all over New England. Also a licensed funeral director for 32 years, Terence understands what families need — and at Dominick & Sons, we believe a monument should cost no more than a family can afford.
